We were incredibly proud to share that in January 2026, FLOOR.CO attended the prestigious National Flooring Awards organised by Cockerill & Co – where our Director, David Thompson, was honoured with the Made a Difference Award.
This recognition meant a great deal to us as a family company. David had been nominated not only by our own dedicated FLOOR.CO team, but also by valued external partners, including New Leaf New Leaf | Giving Everyone A Chance. His commitment to creating real opportunities for training and employment — especially for people affected by trauma, addiction, or those who thrived in alternative education settings — reflected the heart of who we were and what we stood for.
The Made a Difference Award celebrated individuals and organisations who made a positive impact on the flooring industry, their communities, or the wider world through leadership, innovation, and service. Seeing David recognised on a national stage was a proud moment for all of us at FLOOR.CO, and a reminder of the values that guided our work every day.
